Activate your brain’s potential for visual repair and improvement with this gentle program. Seeing Clearly interacts with your brain and nervous system to reduce muscular tension in your eyes, increase ocular circulation, improve movement and focus, and enhance the coordination between your eyes, brain, and body.
David Webber created Seeing Clearly after losing and then regaining his own eyesight. At the age of 43, he had an illness that caused inflammation in his eyes and made him blind. David discovered that by using principals of the Feldenkrais Method,® he was able to reactivate his visual system and initiate new neural pathways between his brain, eyes, and body. He succeeded in restoring his own eye health and developed Seeing Clearly to help others.
With this program, learn how to:
- Calm your nervous system and relax the muscles of your eyes to increase ocular circulation.
- Improve the way your eyes move to look comfortably in all directions and avoid unnecessary strain.
- Direct your eyes with greater precision to focus effectively both near and far.
- Enhance the coordination between your brain, eyes, and body to improve your 3D vision and balance.
This program includes nine Awareness Through Movement® lessons, four action processes, and six discussions.
(You will need one
juggling ball and one
eye patch in order to experience the Action Processes in the Seeing Clearly program.)
Seeing Clearly is structured for success and has many benefits. In addition to improving ocular circulation, relaxing the muscles of the eyes and improving their ability to move and focus effectively, these lessons will help reduce dependence on glasses, the symptoms of computer vision syndrome, and anxiety. It will also improve balance, and promote a healthy, parasympathetic state. David Webber was a gifted teacher, and his work is a gift to us all.
“I recommend Seeing Clearly for people with a wide range of eye difficulties, and often use elements of David Webber's work in Functional Integration® situations related to chronic head, neck, jaw pain, as well as balance issues. I suspect you will find it as intelligent and generative as I do!”
– David Zemach-Bersin, GCFP, Feldenkrais Trainer
“David Webber is a remarkable person. His personal knowledge, developed in his struggle to find functional vision for himself after severe loss, combined with his use of the Feldenkrais Method, makes his approach useful for everyone.”
—Carl Ginsburg, Ph.D., Feldenkrais Trainer
